I named this newsletter No Blueprint because there is NO blueprint in the sports world. It is an untraditional space where half the time you get jobs before they are posted. There are 500 different ways to the top and I look forward to sharing some of those with you. Thanks for reading!

10 tips for DOBO’S to save some headaches
Your follow-up is everything. Double, triple, quadruple check.
Call the hotel when you’re 45 minutes away to make sure the room keys are labeled. It will be easier to hand them out
Carry a big ziplock bag to save receipts. Take pictures as well.
When traveling, confirm your team meals with the front desk. Both night and morning shift.
Don’t give all your gear out at once. Save a few pieces for team events.
Have a checklist for your managers to make sure everything needed gets packed and put on the bus.
Have a manager confirm the post game meal delivery at halftime.
Pick 5 local restaurants and get the players orders from each. Put it on a spreadsheet so if you ever need a quick team meal you know what everyone likes.
If you’re flying try going to the airport the night before to get everyones boarding pass. Some airlines will let you get them early. This saves time when you arrive the next day.
Always carry some cash.
